Filling of the wrinkles with own fat
Intervention which consists of transplanting autologous fat obtained by liposuction, reinjecting it to fill lines and wrinkles after subjecting the fat to a process of centrifuge. The result is natural, undetectable and definitive.
It allows hiding facial and body depressions and improving harmony with its own tissue that will not produce rejection or foreign body reactions. The same process is suitable for increasing cheeks, lips, chin, buttocks, breasts in a natural and final way.
The intervention is generally performed with local, epidural or general anesthesia, depending on the amount of fat that needs to be removed and the number of areas that must be injected.
The procedure is initially like a conventional liposuction, and it allows to correct the fat deposits that disfigure the body contour in the same intervention.
The area in which the removal of fat (“donor site”) is made has swelling and bruising immediately after the surgery and should be compressed between 2 weeks and 1 month with a gaza to promote adaptation of the skin to the new volume. The fat extracted is centrifuged to remove serum once extracted, and fat cells are injected into areas where it is desired to achieve more volume, correct depressions or irregularities, reduce wrinkles or improve skin quality. A variable percentage of the injected fat will be reabsorbed in the immediate postoperative period but the rest will remain permanently in the area and it will be modified only by the weight changes.
The injected area may also have swelling that will disappear in a few days. The discomfort of the intervention is very well tolerated taking painkillers orally when required. For this reason a second intervention is required in some instances for tuning symmetry or giving more volume to the treated area in the case of large volumes of filler. It is also recommended that you maintain more or less stable weight once operated.
